Tour Description

Our tour will begin at the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, the beating heart of this holy place. Your guide will lead you to the Grotto of Massabielle, famous for being the site of Our Lady's apparitions to St. Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. Here, you will have the opportunity to pray in a very spiritual setting, perhaps even participating in the religious celebrations that are held regularly. Immediately afterwards, you will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, where the silence and beauty of the place are conducive to meditation and prayer.

The tour will continue with a visit to the Basilica of St. Pius X, an underground church that welcomes thousands of pilgrims every day. The unique architecture of this basilica is a symbol of the global community gathering in prayer. Your guide will also tell you about the history of the apparitions and the impact Lourdes has had on millions of people over the years. You will also have time to reflect and pray at the Fountain of Lourdes, famous for its miraculous waters, which heal many people each year and are a source of hope for all.

To conclude the tour, you will visit the Birthplace of St. Bernadette, a place that allows us to get in touch with the story of this young girl whose simplicity and humility changed the lives of so many. After seeing these places, you will have free time to buy religious souvenirs or stop for a moment of personal prayer.

If you want a more complete experience, you can choose the option with pickup from Toulouse or St. Sebastian for an all-day tour. Departure will be early in the morning: from Toulouse, the trip takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, while from St. Sebastian the trip is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Lourdes, the tour proper will begin, which will follow the same route as the 3-hour tour. After visiting the Grotto of Massabielle, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, and the Basilica of St. Pius X, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a lunch break in a typical Lourdes restaurant, where you will enjoy local dishes in a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will visit the Fountain of Lourdes and have free time to further explore the holy places, pray and reflect. You will not miss a visit to St. Bernadette's House, where you can immerse yourself even further in the life of the young mystic. At the end you will visit the Lourdes Castle , and then the return journey will leave in the late afternoon, arriving in Toulouse or St. Sebastian in the evening.

The itinerary can be customized to suit the needs of the group or individual participant, with options to add more stops along the way or to change the order of visits.
